WEBICA.NET IS AN INTERACTIVE OPEN ELECTRONIC BOOK
As a freelance Web Applications
developer
I created and run this site.
The Web Applications I build cover a broad range of business uses, several of which are featured here. The biggest demands tend to be for business systems and organisations that need to integrate with remote and distributed services across the internet.
I use Microsofts .NET framework for the WEB, this simple site being an example of a C# n-tier distributed Web Application system.
I had a good grounding in business systems with 10 years MIS database development experience across a range of industries before I started Web development (in 1997)

Of course things change quickly in this industry, keeping up can be quite hard, so I see part of my role here to strip out the hype from new technologies and to focus on the fundamentals.
As the articles and resources here mature and grow in number I plan to promote this site to wider Web communities.
Currently the small dedicated following I have is loyal and my thanks in spotting typo's.
Currently my efforts are focussed on creating new content, some of which is programmatic so some of these "pages" will contain functioning modules related to an article.
I have tried to make finding information here easy, at the bottom of each page is a list of links to all other titles in the current chapter, there is also an integrated Google search facility and if you want you can add all the articles to your bookmarks in one go
here.
