With 300 original articles covering seven of the major categories of concern to those both consumming and providing Web based systems Webica.net continues its steady growth in core content, now with over 25% of visitors regularly returning in April 2007.
With another hundred articles planed for mid summer those published represent the first major draft, with proof reading, refinement and internal linking processes continuing the ideas of a site / interactivce book with "joined-up" thinking is starting to take shape

It is essential to build up a good body of quality content before launching into the wider community.

For many years this site was just a parent domain for testing and development area where certain clients such as the BBC could see the progress of work that they and others had hired me as a contractor to produce for them.

Like many of the applications I have written it used authentication and authorisation techniques to allow clients and other contributors to login to specific sub-domains and see demos and how the real-time working of any projects was progressing.

Whilst such services are still available to select clients the nature of Webica.net has changed making it a significant independent earning resource for both developers and the business communities.
As articles mature and the number grows the site will be more highly ranked on Google, until now one of the essential linchpins to make this happen has not been put in place, namely links to other sites.

The other essential requirement, apart from having original quality content is to have links to you site.
Establishing these links can be seen as part 2 of the rollout of this new site.
Update.
Now 300+ Articles with over 450 url's published. as of May 7th 2007.
