Welcome to Webica.net.
The content here falls under the categories shown on the left. This site has recently been upgraded and is now underpinned by a new “.NET” 3.5 content management system. .
Specifically written for the job of displaying articles, code and runtime controls for business and the DotNet communities, many of these controls represent the future shape of business development; contained in pages through out this site, they are the packages used to define and deliver new business requirements. Architected as loosely coupled elements they can be injected onto the page when and where required.
These controls will be added to articles under each of the major site categories.
There are two distinct perspectives, the obvious technical aspects as well as the direct “what’s its use to business?”
As these articles mature so the emphasis and internal links to other articles within this site, they will develop in a manner aimed at projecting their use into existing DotNet Web based enterprises and as an entry point for those seriously considering this platform..
Currently, clicking on any category will display the most recently worked article for that category.
Diving slightly into a little detail, there is only one page, but it's a smart, a high performance service orientated page architecture serving up the content each users request
It was also decided that Google ads would be included, it is itself a loosely coupled Web Application that gets a mention in the Webica.Net is served up to your browser.
Clicking the
previous articles will load a control, a list of previous article titles that belong to the same category. This control enables you to easily and quickly browse through 20 or 30 titles in few seconds without the page refreshing(re-loading) itself, making the experience easier and 10 to 20 times faster than doing the same at most other sites today. The control can also be dragged and dropped to position it if required.
Another control that can be dragged and dropped is the code view window.
The Code View animation window appears for Technical Articles, a
sample technical article is here. As this site is evolving, for now an article is a technical article because it has code with it.
There will be regular lead articles, each will belong under one of the categories on the left.
Currently these seven categories maximise the benefit of webica.net to its desired community.
This default landing page content will be updated to include all the new functionality added over the next few weeks. I hope I've done enough at this site to make you want to call back again sometime and enjoy
