In a surprise move today keycost.com now supports Google AdSense.
In a move that took about a minute and a half between deciding it was time to include ads to seeing ads appear on its homepage the CyberDon surprised several observers by changing the 'academic' status of the site.
Keycost.com is still free to users but it’s likely that the move from an academic showcase to revenue earning commercial entity is likely to changethe nature of keycost.com and perhaps catch eye of a few pundits in the City.
“The fact that the change over took about the same time it takes to take three sips of a cup of tea was quite attractive” said the chairman of Webica. Those that not familiar with Googles AdSense will be pleased to know it just takes the addition of simple JavaScript block to a page.
After modest but solid growth reported "Ad" earnings had tripled by the end of the second month using Google AdSense on Webica.net.
It’s only a small three figure sum but projections look quite promising so it made sense to also make the change on Keycost.com
Webica.Net has a rapid growth in premium quality articles for the programming community and is itself headed by a London based community champion John Mulkearns.
“Around one hundred extra articles to be added over the next month or so meaning Webica represents a new significant U.K. based learning portal directly from the CyberDon”
