The site
here is an early copy of original site developed along with Richard Case back in 2000 for the surrey and Sussex health authority.
Veterans will know there's change management and management change and they aren’t the same thing by a long shot.
What seemed to be petty issues relating to "ownership" and subsequent deployment of the Cancer Services site above it was never deployed to one of the local authorities servers.
From Richards and my perspective this seemed ridiculous.
Now, some 5 years later webica.net still hosts this development copy in the help that it may have helped some seeking information.
I am glad to report that, to this day, the above link still produces thousands of views regularly, hopefully helping the NHS to get the most from its budget (tax payers money) despite of those issues that prevented it being deployed at the time.
This is part of a series I'm putting together to give potential clients a feel for
some of the issues I tackle and how I tread the technologies to solutions
path.
This small series will also serve the purpose of giving "would be"
consultants a better feel for the range of business types and how their needs do
and do not differ.
The orginal site was built back in 2001, and cost less than three thousand pounds.
As long as webica.net exists this development copy will continue to be hosted.
