So the whole empowerment thing is true, but it does mean different things to different people.
As an application developer I can take advantage of particular controls within the toolboxes that already have built in functionality which enables me to things I would otherwise have to created code for myself.

As a businessman or woman it’s not so clear what the advantages are other than a shorter time to market.
This site, the readable text I write and the business software components I create and add to certain pages will hopefully help communicate some of the newer possibilities.
With something fast approaching 100,000 hours I.T. experience working on PC based systems I'm now using a little more of my time to write about what I do rather than just doing it
It's a shame others who write (blogs) are not required to have a little more experience but this is applied technology and not "what my cat did this morning".

I'll be promoting this site and my work through what is apparently called "search engine marketing".
Thankfully I do not plan to write endless pages of dribble about the subject, I just plan to do use the knowledge I already have to publish articles under the seven categories on the left menu and earn revenue from advertising that accompanies them.
I also plan to introduce a question and answer application, a quiz engine, currently under development this should start to appear around late summer.

The subject matter covered will include a range of technologies as well as material and resources aimed at promoting the benefits to business of Web Applications.
